Currently our 177 year old Church has some significant building improvements needed in order to keep the Church open. St. Andrew's has had the work done but needs to repay the cost of the work. We are blessed that we were able to get the work done and for the help of everyone involved - both paid contractors and hard working volunteers.
We have partnered with a secure online organization called CanadaHelps.org that will be accepting donations on behalf of St. Andrew's. They will issue tax receipts and deposit your donation into the St. Andrew's account. It's simple and it's secure so you can feel safe when you make a donation and know that you have made a difference to St. Andrew's.
When you click on the Donate Now button below, you will be sent to CanadaHelps.org and they will help you step through the process of online giving. If you have any questions, please contact the Church office at 613-968-8998.
Thank you for your generous gift. With your help we can help promote and celebrate the love of Jesus Christ.
Automatic bank withdrawals help congregations to maintain a regular, dependable flow of contributions, and provide church members with a convenient way of providing ongoing, faithful support for their church. Many people prefer this method of paying for any number of things - mortgages, insurance policies, hydro bills, etc. It allows them to make regular payments over a period of time.
It's easy to join the P.A.R. plan, too. All you have to do is:
1) Print out and complete the authorization form found on this website,
2) Mark a cheque from your bank account "VOID", and
3) Enclose both in an envelope and put it on the offering plate. (Or, you may give the completed form and cheque to Lois Hicks, the Church Treasurer, during regular Church office hours.)
In addition to supporting St. Andrew's, you can also allocate part of each month's contribution for Presbyterians Sharing..., the same way you do now with an envelope.
If you wish to have further information about P.A.R., there are pamphlets available in the Narthex each Sunday.
By contributing to St. Andrew's through the P.A.R. Plan, your money goes much farther in support of the Church and its service to Christianity throughout the world. More of your contribution will go to where it's needed, instead of being spent on paperwork! Join the P.A.R. Plan today!
There are at least two ways Presbyterians support their church financially.
We are all familiar with the weekly offering. If you use church envelopes,
you can choose where your money is to be used such as your church's annual
budget or building fund. You may also support national church programs such
as Presbyterian
World Service & Development or Presbyterians Sharing... through your
offering. You probably also make contributions to special appeals —
such as disaster relief — throughout the year.
