On the second Tuesday of the month, "Card Night" is held in the Round Room. It can be called fun or fiercely competitive depending upon if you win or lose...

Christmas Day was "piped in" by Reverend David Cooper who helped celebrate the service.

On Christmas Eve the service was enhanced by a trio of George Couperus, Larry Ducommun and niece Rachel Ducommun as they played "O Holy Night" during the service.

The Sunday School presented a Canadian Version of the 12 Days of Christmas. The congregation was treated to a melodic rendition that featured all of our students.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian held its annual Candlelight Service. Our Musical Director, George Couperus led a choir of over 40 voices in a celebration of the Advent Season. The chorus consisted of members from various Quinte area churches. The church sanctuary was filled with over 300 people who participated in the hymns and songs. Afterwards an Afterglow reception was held in the auditorium for the choir and attendees.

Twenty Dozen regular shortbread were donated to the Gleaner's Foodbank in Belleville from the Annual Shortbread Campaign. Susan Quinlan accepts the shortbread from Judy Ducommun.

On
Monday, December 5th, St. Andrew's again hosted the Belleville Rotary
Club's Annual Christmas dinner. Preparations began in earnest on Sunday
as the tables were set, potatoes peeled. The large staff was given directions
and the evening was again successfully carried out.

St.
Andrew's completed its fifth annual Shortbread Campaign. Again this year
over 300 orders of both regular and gluten- freeshortbread were ordered
and made. A crew of volunteers made the gluten-free in the church.

On Sunday December 18th, our organist George Couperus invited the Men's Chorus to participate in the service. About 18 members who also participated in the Candlelight Service assited in a meaningful Advent service.
