Workshop Leaders: Members of St. John’s, Bradford
This workshop deals with St. John’s Church in Bradford and the need to build a new church building. Part of the workshop will involve short presentations from the “Building Committee: those involved in the construction of a new church. Topics include: Articulating the Vision for change, questions about finances and how to involve people concretely in change. The forum part of the workshop would involve the solicitation of four statements from the participants and provide an opportunity to share responses. The four statements are: Finish the sentence, “Our worship space needs to change in the following ways....”, “If we change our space, I am afraid that....”, “Whom will we need to convince if we make this change?”, “What questions do you have for the group from Bradford?” This is a workshop that affects many congregations. Please plan on attending.
